Bar La Spiaggetta (Trattoria La Spiaggetta)

The trattoria ‘La Spiaggetta’ (now Bar La Spiaggetta) was founded in 1967 by Giuseppina Ribola after her husband, Bortolo Dalmeri, renovated the small barn he had inherited a few years earlier, located on Lake Iseo, in the hamlet of Sensole on Monte Isola. Giuseppina immediately gained appreciation for the care with which she prepared traditional Montisola recipes, making the most of local products. In 1989, her husband and daughter Elena officially joined the restaurant business. Within a few years, the trattoria was expanded with the addition of a pleasant veranda overlooking the lake for use in winter, and brought up to health and hygiene standards, all to make the welcome for its guests increasingly modern and comfortable. In fact, the trattoria’s simple and authentic cuisine, combined with its enchanting location overlooking the lake, continues to attract a loyal clientele consisting not only of the children and grandchildren of long-standing customers but also numerous foreign tourists visiting Monte Isola.
