When you get off at Porto (Harbour of Siviano), on the left-hand side of a group of 18th cent. buildings on the lake side, you can admire Villa Ferrata (or Villa Solitudo), a 16th cent. building renovated at the beginning of the 20th cent. The lake-side wing ends with a beautiful, trabeated loggia. Attached to the villa’s body there is a 17th century chapel with a perspective dome. On the portal you can see the coat of arms of the Fenaroli family, who had the villa built. Behind the villa there is a wide, enclosed courtyard with vines and olive trees. The villa is private so you can only see it from the lake.
